In connection with the holiday on February 23, a celebration was held for Mamasaali Jumaev, who turned 100 years old. He is the only veteran of this war living in the rural district of Bagysh in the Suzak district.
The event was attended by the akim of the Suzak district, Baratbek Sydyknazarov, and Omurbek Mamytov, the head of the district's labor, social protection, and migration department, who came to congratulate the veteran.
Currently, there are only two veterans of the Great Patriotic War left in the Jalal-Abad region.
