In the Talas region, the pawnshop "Orozaly" voluntarily returned property that had been previously seized from citizens, which was taken unlawfully. This information was provided by the State Committee for National Security.
During inspections conducted by the GKNB in conjunction with the Talas Department of the State Tax Service, the National Bank, and the Antimonopoly Service, the pawnshop "Orozaly" acknowledged the validity of the claims made against it and the identified violations of legislation.
The returned property includes a residential house that previously belonged to the borrower S.U.U., as well as documents for the property that were pledged by ten citizens.
Furthermore, the management of the pawnshop expressed its willingness to return to borrowers the interest that had been charged in excess of 30% per annum, starting from the summer of 2024 until the present moment. Citizens can address their issues in the established manner.
The organization apologized to all affected individuals and assured that it will operate strictly within the framework of the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic in the future.
