As part of the preparation for the VI World Nomad Games scheduled for 2026, the "State Holding for Breeding Horse Industry" has announced its intention to purchase 14 pedigree horses of English and Russian trotting breeds. A total of 32.8 million soms will be allocated for this purpose, as reported by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In addition, as part of the preparations for the games, modernization of stables, sports arenas, and riding halls is planned, as well as the development of tracks. Medical and veterinary support for participants will also be organized. These expenses will require 91.2 million soms.
An additional 23.5 million soms is allocated for administrative costs and staff maintenance. Thus, the total funding amount for the preparation and conduct of the events will be 147.5 million soms.
