In the Jalal-Abad region, in Ala-Buka, the event "My Mom's Bread" took place. The head of the district's social affairs sector, Gulnaz Kurmanbaeva, shared information about the event.

According to her, the event has been held for 15 years. "Every year before Defender of the Fatherland Day, we organize 'My Mom's Bread' [‘Апамдын наны’]. This has become our tradition. More than 50 women from the district council participate in the organization. On this day, mothers prepare dough, bake bread and boorsoks, and also cook homemade dishes for the soldiers. Some of them bring homemade ghee and kurut. This event supports the soldiers defending the country's borders and helps them feel the warmth of home. During the event, a group of women held a concert program for the military personnel," said Gulnaz Kurmanbaeva.

In Ala-Buka, there are five border outposts, one detachment, and a military unit of the Ministry of Defense.
