In the Batken region, the mobile post "Razvilka," created to combat smuggling, has completed its work.

This was reported by Abdikarim Alimbaev, the director of the Border Service. The post was located near the village of Chon-Talaa in the Batken district, at the 210th kilometer of the Osh—Batken—Razakov highway. The main task of the staff was to monitor heavy-duty transport: they checked the accompanying documents for goods and livestock heading to the Batken and Leilek districts.

Local residents claim that even with the operation of the "Razvilka" post, the volumes of smuggling did not decrease, which led to its closure.

"The post was originally mobile, established by special permission. It did not stay in one place but moved to address operational tasks. Currently, we have temporarily suspended its operation. In the future, our decisions will depend on the situation: if local residents stop engaging in smuggling, then the need for such posts will disappear," noted Abdikarim Alimbaev.
