Deputy Zhyldyz Egenberdieva expressed her concerns at a meeting of the committee of the Jogorku Kenesh regarding the activities of establishments in the 'anti-cinema' format in Bishkek, where, according to her, there are cases of drug and synthetic substance use.
According to her information, students use these establishments under the pretext of watching movies to consume prohibited substances. In this regard, she addressed representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs with a question about the possibility of closing such places.
Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Nurbek Abdieyev confirmed the existence of such facts, noting that the owners of the establishments have already been held accountable for creating such conditions.
“I can provide written information on the number of such institutions and the measures taken,” he added.
