Deputy Meder Chotonov, at a meeting of the committee of the Jogorku Kenesh, which deals with labor, health, women's rights, and social policy issues, emphasized the importance of heroic mothers for the country.
He noted that there is currently a rise in food prices and contractual education in higher educational institutions.
“Respect for heroic mothers must be increased, and we are obliged to provide them with the necessary support. At the moment, more than 31 thousand heroic mothers receive only one thousand soms as a pension supplement, while citizens under 75 years old do not receive pensions at all, only 3 thousand soms. In this regard, it is proposed to introduce educational benefits for their children in order to strengthen the institution of the family,” he added.
