According to information provided by Zhayloobek Zhakshylykov, the director of the Batken branch of the State Insurance Organization, there has been a 1.4% increase in the number of citizens insuring their homes in the Batken region since the beginning of the year.
He also reported that 4 people have already received payouts for insurance claims related to property damage, totaling 489,000 soms. Throughout 2025, compensation payments amounted to 1,636,000 soms for 13 citizens of the region.
“The number of insured individuals in the region is increasing every year. Data for 2026 shows a 1.4% growth compared to the previous year. To enhance insurance literacy among the population, our organization, together with local authorities, conducts meetings and informational events in three districts and three cities of the region. Branch employees also travel to locations for training and events according to the media plan. These efforts are aimed at improving the level of property protection for citizens,” added Zhakshylykov.
