A conference titled "World Peony Conference - 2026" was held in Bishkek, marking the first of its kind in Central Asia and Kyrgyzstan. This was reported by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Among the participants were the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry Erlis Akunbekov, the Ambassador of China to Kyrgyzstan Liu Jiangping, as well as representatives from a Chinese company and industry experts.
During the conference, a memorandum of cooperation and strategic partnership was signed between the Department for the Examination of Agricultural Crops and Horticulture of Kyrgyzstan and Heze Peony Water Group Co., Ltd.
This document aims to strengthen cooperation in the field of state variety testing and the implementation of modern biotechnologies.
