





Citizens of Kyrgyzstan who remained on the cruise liner in Qatar have departed from Doha towards Saudi Arabia. The press secretary of the president, Askhat Alagozov, confirmed this information.
According to him, the group consists of 134 people. They will reach Riyadh by bus, after which they will fly to Bishkek.
The coordination of organizational matters is being handled by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the embassies of Kyrgyzstan in the specified countries, ensuring safe border crossing for citizens.
According to preliminary data, it is expected that citizens departing from Doha will return to Kyrgyzstan by flight from Riyadh on the evening of March 8.
Recall that President Sadyr Japarov instructed to take measures to return citizens who found themselves in Middle Eastern countries due to recent events in the region.
The organization of the return is under his personal control.
Previously, 260 citizens of Kyrgyzstan were returned home from the United Arab Emirates with the help of two special flights.
