134 Kyrgyzstani Citizens Remain on a Cruise Liner in Qatar. They Are Being Returned to Their Homeland

There are 134 citizens of Kyrgyzstan remaining on a cruise ship in Qatar. The press secretary of the president, Askat Alagozov, reported on his Facebook page that they have already departed from Doha to Saudi Arabia.

According to him, these citizens will be transported to Riyadh by bus, from where they will return to Bishkek on a flight.

Alagozov emphasized that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the embassies of Kyrgyzstan in the respective countries are organizing this process, ensuring the citizens' passage through borders.



According to preliminary data, the return of citizens to their homeland will take place on March 8, when they arrive in Bishkek on a flight from Riyadh.

President Sadyr Japarov has instructed to ensure the return of Kyrgyz citizens who found themselves in the Middle East due to recent events in the region. He also noted that the organizational issues are under his personal control.

Previously, two special flights from the United Arab Emirates had already been organized, which brought 260 citizens back to Kyrgyzstan.
