In an interview provided to the publication Turmush, Nurzhanat spoke about a group created on social media, which includes at least 500 Kyrgyz citizens who have found themselves in a similar situation. Locals express concerns that military actions in the region may continue for a long time. Some of her compatriots have decided to return home, but Nurzhanat and her daughter remained in Dubai after their tour ended four days ago. She noted that the travel agency providing the services has shown inaction in the current situation.
“In our hotel, we were given the opportunity to stay for three more days, but that period has already expired. On March 3, we learned that some compatriots would be able to return with the help of the government, while we were offered tickets for March 6. It would be reasonable if mothers with children were sent on flights first,” she added.
