A temporary shutdown of drinking water in Bishkek is scheduled for March 12. Water will not be supplied from 09:00 to 18:00, according to information from the city authorities.
This process will affect not only residential buildings but also educational institutions, including schools and kindergartens, as well as healthcare facilities and other social and production enterprises.
The water shutdown will impact the area bounded by Dostoevsky, Ankara, and Auezov streets, and residential areas of Altyn Ordo, Kara-Jyach, and Police Town will also be affected.
Representatives of the Municipal Enterprise "Bishkekvodokanal" reported that the shutdown is related to necessary repair and maintenance work at the "Kontreserve" water intake and in the city's water supply systems.
The company apologizes for any inconvenience and urges residents and organizations to prepare in advance and stock up on drinking water.
Additionally, residents of the capital can use the "My City" app to receive current notifications about planned and emergency water supply outages.
