In order to enhance road safety in the Chui region, a raid called "Street Trade" is taking place. This is reported by the press service of the Road Safety Department (UOBDD) of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui region.

The raid is scheduled from March 7 to March 14.

“The main goal of the event is to ensure safety on the highways. We aim to curb the illegal sale of fuel and lubricants, beverages, food products, as well as construction and household goods in areas not permitted for trade. Additionally, we will conduct informational work with the population,” the agency reported.

The Road Safety Department of the Moscow district also noted that recently a fine was issued to a citizen engaged in the illegal sale of fuel.

“Our raid is accompanied by explanatory activities. In recent days, we have noticed that residents from other districts come here to trade fuel. For example, last month we detained a resident of the Panfilov district, and on March 8, a trader from the Sokuluk district was fined 3000 soms,” the traffic police inspectors added.

According to some data, there is virtually no competition in the Moscow district, which makes the sale of goods along the roads profitable and convenient for local traders.
