In the Issyk-Kul region, in the mayor's office of the city of Cholpon-Ata and the Abdrakhmanov rural administration, cases of illegal transfer of land plots into private hands were discovered.
According to the General Prosecutor's Office, from 1997 to 2004, legislative requirements were violated during the transfer of the following properties:
- a land plot of 0.08 hectares belonging to the mayor's office of Cholpon-Ata,
- real estate of the municipal bus station in the Ananyev rural area, with an area of 139.4 square meters,
- a land plot of 0.16 hectares,
- a plot of agricultural land of 4.0 hectares, which was previously transferred to the public fund "SOS Children's Village Cholpon-Ata".
