The correspondent of Turmush reports that there is a noticeable increase in egg prices in Kara-Balta.

According to the latest data, in shopping centers where wholesale prices apply, the cost of the cheapest eggs, which were previously sold for 108 soms per dozen, has now reached 114 soms. At the same time, many stores report a shortage of products on the shelves.

Sellers note that the price increase has also affected other types of eggs, resulting in an overall increase of 20-30 soms per dozen.

In one of the shopping centers, representatives explain the price rise by the increase in feed prices for chickens. However, stores cannot yet say for sure whether the price increase will continue.

It is worth noting that spring traditionally sees a decrease in egg prices, but this year the situation is different.

Local residents also report that cheaper eggs are quickly sold out, while only more expensive options remain on the shelves.
