During the operation "Illegal," conducted by the employees of the Main Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek, a group of foreign citizens working in violation of migration legislation was identified.
According to the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Department, sewing workshops and other production facilities were checked, where, apparently, foreigners were employed.
As a result of the raid, 64 individuals were brought to the police, who arrived in Kyrgyzstan on visas issued by one organization but were actually working in other places, which is a violation of the law.
Additionally, cases of illegal engagement of foreign labor were identified. Administrative protocols were drawn up against three employers, as provided by Article 93 of the Code of Offenses, with a total amount of imposed fines reaching 65,000 soms.
Currently, the possibility of applying measures to the detained foreign citizens in accordance with the current legislation is being considered, including potential deportation from the country.
The Main Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek strongly recommends that employers strictly adhere to the requirements of migration legislation and reports that similar raids in the capital will continue.
