An important decision regarding the salary increase for healthcare workers was announced at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh by Deputy Minister of Health Tilek Mamadaliev. Starting from April 1, 2023, the salaries of doctors and nurses will double, aimed at addressing urgent issues in the healthcare sector.
Tilek Mamadaliev noted that this measure is intended to support medical professionals, especially those working in remote areas.
For example, for about 500 doctors working in such regions, the deposit amount has increased from 33,000 soms to 66,000 soms per quarter. Specialists who are underrepresented in the regions — such as neonatologists, pediatricians, and anesthesiologists-resuscitators — will receive an additional 20,000 soms monthly. In addition, President Sadyr Japarov allocates 15,000 soms per month from the presidential fund to each doctor and nurse,” he added.
