As part of the event, participants competed based on the trilogy of the epic "Manas" — "Manas," "Semetei," and "Seitek," in the interpretation of the famous storyteller Sagymbay Orozbakov, who is an important part of the cultural heritage of the Kyrgyz people.
Twenty-one teams from educational institutions in the region participated in the contest, and 61 young artists performed in the "Manas" showcase.
The intellectual competition "Manas Taanuu" began its history 15 years ago with the participation of just 40 schoolchildren and has since significantly expanded, now encompassing around 40,000 students. This project plays a key role in introducing youth to the "Manas" trilogy, emphasizing its historical significance for the Kyrgyz people, as well as in educating the younger generation in the spirit of friendship, unity, and interethnic harmony.
