The project for the construction of a perinatal center in the Talas region is being actively implemented with financial support from a grant from the German Development Bank. This was announced at a meeting in the Jogorku Kenesh by the First Deputy Minister of Health Tilek Mamadaliev.

The minister noted that the new center will be equipped with the latest technology and its opening is planned for early 2027. In addition, training for doctors from Kyrgyzstan in Germany is planned to enhance their qualifications.

Furthermore, the construction of two more medical facilities in the Talas region is planned to be funded by the republican budget. This year, the construction of a 25-bed hospital will begin in the village of Kopyuro-Bazar in the Talas district. A Center for General Medical Practice with 100 beds will also be built in the Bakai-Ata district.
