In the Naryn region, a new approach to road safety is being implemented: at night, reflective strips are put on the manes and necks of cattle. This was reported by the Road Traffic Safety Department (RTSD) under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the region.

With the onset of the spring season, when livestock is driven to pastures, the road safety department staff of the Jumgal district are taking measures to prevent road traffic accidents involving collisions with animals. The reflective strips attached to the animals significantly improve their visibility, which, in turn, helps reduce the number of accidents.

Local residents and livestock owners are encouraged to support these initiatives and actively participate in similar events, setting an example for others.

Livestock owners are reminded of the importance of constant monitoring of their animals, preventing them from being on the roadside, and the necessity of using reflective strips. It is also emphasized that every citizen is responsible for their animals.
