The construction of a new educational building for Talas State University has begun in Talas, which will consist of five floors.
According to information from the representative office, the construction work is progressing at a high intensity.
In the spring of 2025, university staff appealed to local authorities for a major renovation of the existing building. After this issue was forwarded to the president, it was decided not to limit the efforts to just repairs, but to start the construction of a new building, for which the necessary financial resources were allocated.
Currently, the foundation has already been laid, and the area of the building will be 5,600 square meters. Construction of the second floor is actively underway. The new building will be equipped with modern educational facilities, ensuring a comfortable learning environment for students.
It is planned that the opening of the new educational building will coincide with the celebration of the 35th anniversary of Kyrgyzstan's independence, with the participation of President Sadyr Japarov, as reported in the press release.
