According to preliminary information, the death of Kubanychbek Kapalov is not related to his professional activities. This was reported by the Bailiff Service under the General Prosecutor's Office of Kyrgyzstan.
The body of Kapalov, with a gunshot wound, was found in a vehicle in the village of Baytik. The incident was reported by the Lenin District Department of Internal Affairs of the capital, Bishkek.
In connection with this incident, a criminal case has been initiated, and investigative measures are currently underway to clarify all circumstances. An internal investigation has also been launched.
The Bailiff Service urges the public and journalists to await the official results of the investigation and to refrain from premature conclusions.
It is worth noting that Kubanychbek Kapalov previously held the position of Deputy Head of this service under the General Prosecutor's Office of Kyrgyzstan.
Additionally, the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Bishkek had previously reported that a man committed suicide in a vehicle in Bishkek. According to some media reports, this man may have been Kubanychbek Kapalov.
