On the night of March 16 to 17, Kyrgyzstan will celebrate Kadir Tün (the Night of Decree). This night is considered the most important in Islam, holding significance comparable to "a thousand months." According to teachings, it was during this period that the Prophet Muhammad began receiving revelations of the holy Quran.
According to beliefs, on this night angels descend to the earth, and the heavens open for those who sincerely turn to prayer.
