
President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov has issued a directive for the return of citizens to their homeland. On March 14, 142 people were brought to Kyrgyzstan from Kuwait, Bahrain, and Qatar with the help of a special flight. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Additionally, another 24 citizens returned via Istanbul.
In total, five evacuation flights were organized, which allowed for the return of 592 Kyrgyz citizens from cities such as Riyadh, Dubai, Kuwait, and Bahrain. More than 3,000 citizens used regular flights for their independent return to their homeland.
According to the ministry's information, the main transit points were Riyadh and Jeddah. Flights were operated by Flydubai, Pegasus Airlines, Flynas, and Turkish Airlines.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly advises citizens to refrain from traveling to the Middle East regions until the situation improves.
