A meeting took place in Istanbul between Manasbek Samidin, the head of the OJSC "Airports of Kyrgyzstan," and Bilal Ekşi, the chairman of the board of Turkish Airlines. The Consul General of Kyrgyzstan in Istanbul, Chyngyz Toktobekov, also participated in the discussion.
According to the press service of Turkish Airlines, during the negotiations, the parties discussed the prospects for expanding cooperation between the national airline "Asman Airlines" and Turkish Airlines.
"Representatives of the Turkish side expressed their readiness for joint work and announced their intention to increase both passenger and cargo flights, including flights with technical landings at Manas International Airport. This cooperation opens new horizons for the development of Kyrgyzstan's aviation infrastructure and improving the quality of air transportation both within the country and on international routes," the press service emphasized.
The Kyrgyz delegation invited the CEO of Turkish Airlines to the grand opening of the updated terminal complex of Manas International Airport, scheduled for the summer of 2026.
