Kyrgyzstani Karatekas Won 3 Bronze Medals at the International Tournament

According to the information from the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports.

From December 12 to 14, the international tournament Turkish Open Karate took place in Istanbul, with around 1700 athletes from 35 countries participating. Kyrgyzstan was represented by 11 karatekas, who managed to win three bronze medals.

The bronze medal in the weight category up to 30 kg among young athletes (8-9 years old) was awarded to Raid Abodzhmey, while Nurtilek Saidov, competing in the weight category up to 55 kg in the age group of 16-17 years, also took third place.

Additionally, the bronze medal in the team competition among boys aged 16-17 was won by the national team, which included Aydar Zholchiev, Timur Zholchiev, Aziz Muratov, and Emir Jalalov.

The team was prepared by the senior coach of the National Federation of Shotokan Karate-Do of Kyrgyzstan, Abdibek Apsatarov.
