Kazybek Moldazhiyev congratulated his athletes on their successful performance at the world level and expressed confidence that state support for athletes would continue. During the meeting, he presented the participants of the championship with Letters of Appreciation from the State Agency.
In this prestigious tournament, which gathered athletes from nearly 30 countries, the Kyrgyzstan team demonstrated excellent results, winning numerous prize places.
Achievements of Kyrgyz athletes:
Men's team:
- Nurdoelot Rysbekov — became the world champion in kumite (third consecutive victory) and took 3rd place in kata (for men over 55, veterans and masters of sports);
- Amanbol Talaybekov — 1st place in kumite (up to 84 kg);
- Sıymık Akunov — 2nd place in kumite (up to 75 kg);
- Bilal Ryskulov — 2nd place in kumite (juniors 16–17 years, up to 61 kg);
- Ataybek Abdyjalil uulu — 1st place in shobu nihon kumite (up to 75 kg).
Women's team:
- Aruna Rysbekova — 3rd place in kumite (14–15 years, over 54 kg);
- Aytunuk Tursunbekova — 1st place in kumite (up to 50 kg);
- Elенора Kochkorova — 2nd place in kumite (10–11 years, up to 40 kg).
