Five athletes and their coach received gifts
At the World Wrestling Championship, which took place from September 17 to 23, 2025, in Zagreb, Croatia, Kyrgyz wrestlers were awarded cars as a prize for their achievements. This was reported by the Wrestling Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The cars were presented to Ernazar Akmataliev, Bekzat Almaz-uulu, Asan Janishov, Nurzat Nurtayeva, and Aiperi Medet kyzy. The head coach of the freestyle wrestling team, Azat Mirakhimov, was also honored.
It is worth noting that at this championship, Nurzat Nurtayeva won a gold medal, becoming the champion, while Bekzat Almaz-uulu and Aiperi Medet kyzy received silver medals. Ernazar Akmataliev and Asan Janishov became bronze medalists.
