According to the State Agency for Sports, key figures attended the meeting: the director of the Directorate for National Sports, Ulukbek Omurbekov, the president of the Kyrgyz Kuresh Federation, Ryskeldi Shamiyev, vice-president Turatbek Toichubekov, senior coach Azizbek Aitmurza uulu, and the athletes themselves.
During the event, Kazybek Moldazhiyev congratulated the wrestlers on their successful performances and wished them luck in future competitions. He also presented a commemorative medal "Кыргыз спортуна 100 жыл" ("100 years of Kyrgyz sport") to the federation president Ryskeldi Shamiyev and vice-president Turatbek Toichubekov.
The II World Games of National Sports took place from October 5 to 12 in Cheboksary, where the Kyrgyzstan team in Kyrgyz Kuresh secured third place overall.

- Arlen Estebesov — 66 kg, 1st place;
- Nazarbek Cosmosbek uulu — 72 kg, 2nd place;
- Myktybek Omurzak uulu — 84 kg, 1st place;
- Azizkhan Musabek uulu — 90 kg, 1st place;
- Baktiyar Mirlan uulu — +90 kg, 1st place.
