Kyrgyzstani athletes won two gold medals at the World Sambo Championship for veterans

At the World Sambo Championship for veterans, Kyrgyz athletes won two gold medals and one bronze medal. This information was announced by the State Agency for Sports.

In the category up to 79 kg (M1), Islam Bayalinov managed to win the final against Russian Alexander Shaburov, becoming the world champion. The bronze medals in this category were awarded to athletes from Kazakhstan and Tajikistan: Miras Bulatov and Alisher Garibshoev, respectively.

Nurlan Alamanov, competing in the M4 category in the weight class up to 64 kg, also became the world champion by defeating Russian Sergey Volkov in the final. In this same category, third place was shared by Kazakhstani Amantai Valiev and Russian Alexander Yefimov.

Additionally, in the M5 category in the weight class up to 64 kg, Maksatbek Murzabekov won a bronze medal, adding another award for Kyrgyzstan.
