At the III Asian Youth Games taking place in Manama, Kyrgyz athletes achieved excellent results, winning several medals in MMA and Muay Thai disciplines. This information was announced by the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Silver Medal
Muhammadrasul Kadiridinov became the vice-champion in the weight category up to 60 kg, taking second place in the MMA competition.
Bronze Medals
Kubanych Sharshenbaev won a bronze medal in the weight category up to 75 kg in MMA;
Gulmayram Abdykerimova also won a bronze medal in MMA in the weight up to 60 kg, defeating a Kazakh athlete in the third-place match;
Ramis Maslovets became a bronze medalist in Muay Thai in the weight category up to 48 kg.
The event took place at the Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB) congress and exhibition center.
