
More than 3,000 athletes from 81 countries participated in these competitions, competing for medals in 19 sports.
From Kyrgyzstan, 18 athletes competed in freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling, taekwondo, judo, and table tennis. As a result, our athletes won six medals, as stated in the official announcement.


The gold medals were won by Smadiyar Jumakadyrov (in the 60 kg category, Greco-Roman wrestling) and Adilet Japarkulov (in the 74 kg category, freestyle wrestling).
The bronze medals went to Dinmukhamed Bigeldiev (67 kg, Greco-Roman wrestling), Nart Abdrakhmanov (97 kg, Greco-Roman wrestling), Baisalbek Orozali uulu (60 kg, judo), and Azamat Mavlonov (80 kg, taekwondo).

These games are held every four years and are recognized by the International Olympic Committee. The history of the Deaflympic movement began in 1924 in Paris, and their organization and management are carried out by the International Committee of Sports for the Deaf (ICSD).
