At the Islamic Solidarity Games held in Saudi Arabia, the Kyrgyzstan team in Wushu Sanda won three medals.

The competitions took place on November 15-16, with four Kyrgyz athletes participating.

In the under 70 kg category, Abror Hakimov competed, starting from the quarter-finals. He achieved two victories over opponents from Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan and advanced to the finals.

Unfortunately, in the decisive match, Hakimov lost to a representative from Iran, finishing in second place and receiving a silver medal.

Dastan Kanybek uulu (under 60 kg) and Temirlan Amankulov (under 85 kg) also reached the semi-finals, winning bronze medals.

It is important to note that the Wushu Sanda competitions were held outside the main program as demonstration events.

At the previous competitions, there were also contests in Uzbek wrestling Kurash, where Kyrgyz athletes won three medals, including one gold and two bronze.

However, it should be noted that the medals in these disciplines are not counted in the overall medal tally.
