Nuradin Rustambek Uulu won silver at the Islamic Games in Saudi Arabia

Athlete from Kyrgyzstan Nuraidin Rustambek uulu won second place at the Islamic Solidarity Games, currently taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

In the competition, he competed in the under 70 kg category and began his journey in the quarterfinals, where he managed to secure a victory by split decision over a Turkish athlete with a score of 3:2.

His next opponent in the semifinals was a fighter from Egypt, whom he also defeated with the same score of 3:2.

In the final, held on November 10, Rustambek uulu faced an experienced Jordanian athlete who had already won a bronze medal at the 2025 World Championship, a bronze at the 2018 Asian Games, a silver at the 2022 Asian Championship, and the title of champion at the 2023 Arab Games.

After three rounds of three minutes each, the judges unanimously awarded victory to the Jordanian athlete.

Thus, Rustambek uulu took second place and received a silver medal. This award became the third for Kyrgyzstan at the current Games, with two silver medals previously won by female athletes in judo.
