Kasymaly Uulu won his championship belt on September 27, 2024, at the OCTAGON 63 tournament, where he knocked out an opponent from Azerbaijan. He made his first title defense on January 18, 2025, at OCTAGON 69, winning against Russian Bair Shtepin by decision.
The victory in Astana allowed him to maintain his perfect record in professional sports and continue his dominance in the bantamweight division (up to 61 kg).
