The Kyrgyzstan national team won bronze at the Islamic Games

At the Islamic Solidarity Games held in Saudi Arabia, the Kyrgyzstan judo team managed to win bronze.

The team competitions took place on November 10. The national team began its performance in the quarter-finals, where they suffered a defeat against the Turkish team with a score of 0:4.
In the battle for the bronze medal, the Kyrgyz athletes faced Kazakhstan and achieved victory with a score of 4:2, which earned them medals.

In this match, victories were secured by Zhanar Zholdosheva (in the weight category up to 57 kg), Adina Kochkonbaeva (up to 63 kg), Erlan Sherov (up to 90 kg), and Emirhan Zholdoshkaziev (over 90 kg).

The bronze medalists included Erlan Sherov, Emirhan Zholdoshkaziev, Tegin Almazhan uulu, Zhanar Zholdosheva, Sabira Kozhomberdieva, Adina Kochkonbaeva, Akmarzhan Turdazhiyeva, Myrzaiym Duishonbekova, and Aydemi Kalieva.

It is also worth noting that in the individual competitions, Zhanar Zholdosheva and Adina Kochkonbaeva won silver medals.

Thus, this bronze became the fourth medal for Kyrgyzstan at these games — the team's tally includes 3 silvers and 1 bronze.
