According to information from Prosports.kg, the Kyrgyz team joyfully celebrated their achievements at the Islamic Solidarity Games, where they managed to win their first medals.
The national team has two awards: a silver medal won by freestyle wrestler Almaz Smanbekov, and a bronze medal earned by his colleague Nurtilek Karypbaev.
These successes allowed Kyrgyzstan to take 19th place in the medal standings among 28 countries whose athletes were able to win medals.
Team members emphasized that such results not only inspire them but also create additional motivation for further performances at the Islamic Solidarity Games.
