
These days, the VI Islamic Solidarity Games are taking place in the capital of Saudi Arabia, where the boxer from Kyrgyzstan, Nuradin Rustambek uulu, managed to win a silver medal.
The final bout in the under 70 kg category did not end in his favor: he lost to the Jordanian athlete Zeyad Ishais. On his way to the final, Nuradin secured confident victories over opponents from Turkey and Egypt.
Additionally, Kyrgyz judokas Janar Zholdosheva (in the weight category up to 57 kg) and Adina Kochkonbaeva (up to 63 kg) also won silver medals at these Games.
From November 7 to 21, the VI Islamic Solidarity Games are being held in Riyadh, with 90 athletes from Kyrgyzstan competing in 19 sports, including three Paralympic disciplines.
