From November 7 to 21, the VI Islamic Solidarity Games are taking place in Riyadh, during which Kyrgyz karatekas will compete for medals. Athletes from many Muslim countries are expected to participate.
According to information from Prosports.kz, the national karate team of Kyrgyzstan will consist of four athletes under the guidance of head coach Myrsabek Aliev and senior coach Bakyt Duyshiev.
The participants from Kyrgyzstan in the WKF karate category are:
— Bekzhan Kalykov (up to 60 kg)
— Vizit Baratov (up to 67 kg)
— Nazim Nurlanov (up to 75 kg)
— Begimai Orozalieva (over 68 kg)
Participation in these games will provide Kyrgyz karatekas with an excellent opportunity to showcase their skills on the international stage and prepare for the upcoming Asian and world championships.
