Islamic Games: Boxers Won One Medal. Results

At the Islamic Solidarity Games held in Saudi Arabia, the Kyrgyzstan boxing team managed to win one medal.

The competitions took place from November 5 to 10, and the team consisted of three boxers who competed under the guidance of head coach Daniyar Tөlөgөn uulu.

Islam Tөrөbaev (under 55 kg category) and Ryspek Bektenov (under 60 kg category) could not advance beyond their first bouts, being eliminated from medal contention.

Nuradin Rustambek uulu represented Kyrgyzstan in the under 70 kg weight category. He began the competition in the quarterfinals and achieved two consecutive victories over opponents from Turkey and Egypt, allowing him to reach the final.

In the decisive match for the gold medal, Nuradin lost to a Jordanian boxer, who is a medalist of the 2025 World Championship, and won the silver medal.
