Mongolia Won Two Bronze Medals in Freestyle Wrestling at the 2025 Deaflympics in Tokyo

The XXV Summer Deaflympics took place from November 15 to 26, 2025, in Tokyo, Japan.

In the men's freestyle wrestling competition in the 65 kg category, Erkhembayar Namdagdorj won the bronze medal, marking Mongolia's first medal at these Deaflympics. This is the athlete's third medal at the Deaflympics, having previously won silver in 2017 and gold in 2022.

Chinzorig Dorjdagva, competing in the 74 kg weight category, also achieved bronze success, becoming the second medalist for the Mongolian team. This is his second medal at the Deaflympics after winning silver in 2017.

Over 11 days, more than 3,200 athletes from 81 countries competed in 21 sports at the event. Mongolia was represented by 14 athletes who competed in judo, freestyle wrestling, table tennis, athletics, and shooting.

The final results for Mongolian athletes at the previous Deaflympics include two gold, six silver, and four bronze medals.
