On November 20, Meerim Jumaanazarova became the gold medalist at the Islamic Solidarity Games held in Saudi Arabia.

At the competition in Riyadh, the Kyrgyz athlete competed in the weight category up to 68 kg, where she achieved three consecutive victories and took first place.

This award was the first for Jumaanazarova after the Olympic Games in Paris, where she won a silver medal, finishing in second place.

In September of this year, she participated in the World Championship in Serbia, where, starting with a victory, she ultimately lost in the quarterfinals and could not continue the fight for prize places.

It is worth noting that in 2021 in Turkey, Jumaanazarova already became a champion, winning a gold medal at the Islamic Games.
