At the Islamic Solidarity Games held in Saudi Arabia, the Kyrgyzstan national team in freestyle wrestling took third place in the team standings, demonstrating excellent results.
The men's competitions took place on November 20-21 and included six weight categories in which medals were contested. The wrestlers from Kyrgyzstan competed in all divisions, allowing the team to score 81 points and secure the third position among 22 participating countries.
Other sports teams from the country also performed successfully.
The Greco-Roman team of Kyrgyzstan also achieved third place.
The women's wrestling team finished in fourth place, narrowly missing out on medals.
These achievements highlight the high competitiveness of Kyrgyzstani wrestlers and have become one of the most significant results for the country on the international stage in 2025.
