In the recently concluded Islamic Games in Saudi Arabia, the Kyrgyzstan team took 14th place in the overall standings. This was reported on the official website of the competition.
The Kyrgyzstan team managed to win 4 gold and 4 silver medals, as well as 11 bronze awards.
The leading positions in the medal standings were taken by the Turkish team, which finished with 72 gold, 44 silver, and 39 bronze medals. In second place is Uzbekistan with 29 gold, 35 silver, and 32 bronze awards, while Iran took third place, winning 29 gold, 19 silver, and 33 bronze medals.
Athletes from 42 countries brought home medals, while the total number of participants in the Games amounted to 57 states.
