According to the official website of the competition, Kyrgyz athletes showed excellent results, winning three bronze medals in jiu-jitsu. In particular, the following victories were achieved in the third place matches:
Argen Abdymanapov (category up to 69 kg) defeated Uzbek athlete Sirojbek Rustamov;
Ruslan Sagdeev (up to 94 kg) won against Moroccan Hamza Elfariza;
Abdurakhman Murtazaliev (up to 85 kg) triumphed over an athlete from Tunisia.
After these achievements, the Kyrgyzstan national team took 13th place in the overall medal standings of the tournament, strengthening the country's position on the international martial arts stage.
