The First Gold of Kyrgyzstan at the Youth Asian Games

At the third Youth Asian Games in Bahrain, the Kyrgyzstan national team celebrated winning its first gold medal. The champion was Ramazan Tyanguber, who competed in jiu-jitsu in the under 69 kg category.

Ramazan began his journey to the final from the round of 16 and confidently secured four consecutive victories. In the decisive match, he faced Kazakh athlete Rafael Orumbaev. The final bout ended with a score of 2:2, but thanks to the advantage, Tyanguber was declared the winner, bringing Kyrgyzstan its first gold medal at these Games.

During the tournament, Ramazan Tyanguber went through the following stages:

Round of 16 - Tyanguber 2:0 Abdullah Al-Jabr (Kuwait)

Quarterfinals - Tyanguber 2:0 Elias Zwavi Banjhar (Saudi Arabia)

Semi-finals - Tyanguber 2:0 Alisher Sakimov (Kazakhstan)

Final - Tyanguber 2:2 Rafael Orumbaev (Kazakhstan) - victory by advantage.
