Kyrgyzstanis won 19 medals at the Islamic Games in Saudi Arabia

The national team of Kyrgyzstan successfully completed its performances at the Islamic Solidarity Games held in Saudi Arabia.

The sixth Islamic Solidarity Games took place from November 4 to 21 in Riyadh.

The Kyrgyz team consisted of 99 athletes representing various sports, including boxing, judo, swimming, table tennis, weightlifting, Muay Thai, karate, esports, duathlon, taekwondo, wushu, athletics, fencing, wrestling, jiu-jitsu, as well as para-athletics and para-powerlifting.

The country's athletes won a total of 19 medals, including 4 gold, 4 silver, and 11 bronze. The highest number of medals was earned in wrestling (9), jiu-jitsu (3), wushu (3), judo (3), and boxing (1).

The gold medals were won by wrestlers: Akjol Makhmudov, Abdumalik Karachov, Meerim Jumanzarova, and Aiperi Medet kyzy.
