Dastan himself shared his impressions, admitting that he did not expect such a reaction.
“I still can’t believe that my work made it to Instagram — with an audience even larger than Ronaldo’s followers. When I was approached two weeks ago with a request to provide the video, I was very surprised, but I didn’t think it would actually be published. When I saw it today, I was completely thrilled!” he said.
Instagram representatives contacted Dastan two weeks ago to request permission to use his video, but he did not expect that the clip would end up on the official page of the social network.
Now his works are showcasing Kazakhstan to a vast audience. Users from different countries are noting the beauty of nature and comparing its landscapes to those of Iceland and New Zealand.
