In Istanbul, a meeting took place between Manasbek Samidinov, Chairman of the Board of OJSC "Airports of Kyrgyzstan," and Bilal Ekşi, Chairman of the Board of Turkish Airlines. The event was supported by the Consulate General of Kyrgyzstan in Istanbul, headed by Chyngyz Toktobekov.
As reported by Manasbek Samidinov on his social media, the meeting discussed the prospects for cooperation with the state airline "Asman Airlines," as well as increasing the number of both cargo and passenger flights. In particular, the possibility of operating flights with a technical stop at "Manas" airport was mentioned.
Bilal Ekşi noted the readiness for further cooperation and emphasized the importance of partnership with the Kyrgyz Republic. Samidinov also invited him to the opening ceremony of the renovated passenger terminal complex of "Manas" International Airport, which is scheduled for the summer of 2026.
